What is an effectual thinker? Someone who knows who they are, what they know and, who they know. They can create any possibility from any of the above factors.

Born from an individual with a desire to help others, we were initially called Strength in Diversity in 2017. We are a directory and consulting service for small business starting their LLC's or Nonprofit 501c3 organizations. We spent our time utilizing that platform to learn from some the most amazing black creators, black founders, black builders, black women in tech, black surgeons, black pilots- you name it, we found them!

You learn so much from so many amazing successful people of color whom created their own lanes to address our communities needs. Their passions were based off of their own experiences; a desire for others to not experience the same. A desire for others to see someone like them in their respective field. The typical African American kid from a middle class or poor home is cut off after graduating high school. The pressure put on most of us doesn't allow us to fully explore our gifts. Some of us never were exposed to the idea that we could be any of those things realistically. So we spend our time pursuing options with our athleticism, traditional education, or join the workforce to do things that we necessarily may not like- just so that we can live.

But, some of us developed a hustle; a work ethic that is unmatched by anything. What happens when you expose a marginalized demographic with work ethic to the true options available to them? What happens when young children get to see people in amazing fields and professions that look like them? What happens when the levels of taking what you have to compound and build what you want legally is taught? We'd change the narrative.

Effectuation is also a licensed nursery and seed distributor. Addressing food shortages is serious. according to Feeding America there are more than 34 million people, including 9 million children that experience food insecurity. Let's start growing produce at home and creating neighborhood unity gardens where we can.
